Aerospace Brazil is the brand that identifies the Brazilian aerospace supply chain abroad.

Aerospace Brazil is an APEX Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) trade sector project, designed to promote the Brazilan Aerospace industry into the global market. The project is managed by the International Business Development office at the Tech Park of São José dos Campos in partnership with the Brazilian Aerospace Cluster.

The member companies have different sizes and they participate of an intense qualification program, market studies, networking opportunities. The main motivation of the project are:

  • Trade promotion business opportunities.

Brand visibility
Participating in the greatest trade fairs, in shared booths and intense network schedules. Usually are events such as Farnborough air Show, Paris Air Show, Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit, there are also attendance in prospective business mission to foreign countries.

Participating in programs to attract direct foreign investment in several markets and in specific events to contact investors from Brazil and abroad.

Proprietary information
Access to collection of data, such as market intelligence studies; business intelligence tool, market forecast and coaching to companies that aims or plan to become exporters.

Communication
The content related to the member’s companies will be part of communication strategy – online and offline, that also includes the promotion of the Project actions.

The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) works to promote Brazilian products and services abroad, and to attract foreign investment to strategic sectors of the Brazilian economy. The Agency organizes several initiatives aiming to promote Brazilian exports abroad. The Agency´s efforts comprise trade and prospective missions, B2B´s, support for the participation of Brazilian companies in major international trade fairs, arrangement of technical visits of foreign buyers and opinion makers to learn about the Brazilian productive structure, and other select activities designed to strengthen the country’s branding abroad.

The São José dos Campos Technology Park

The Tech Park was created in 2006 and the structure is one of the greatest innovation complex and entrepreneurship in Brazil.  It has the mission to promote science, technology, innovation aiming competitive development and sustainability of the affiliated companies and institutions.

Occupies an area of 15 million sqm, with 145 companies in site, 4 science and technology institutes and 5 educational and research institutes.

The Tech Park has a strategic localization to the Brazilian Aerospace Market: the sector is formed by 400 companies, the region Vale do Paraíba is the hub in Brazil attracted by Embraer (also based in the region) at São Jose dos Campos.

The Brazilian Aerospace Cluster 

Because of its expertise and technology, PQTEC is the manager of the Brazilian Aerospace Cluster. The Cluster is unique in the Aerospace sector in Brazil and is acknowledged as the most important in Latin America. The Cluster has more than 100 members companies in Aeronautic, Defense and Space sector.

The Cluster goals is to generate competitive advantage to the members. It happens through actions that aims process upgrading, products development, several solution and services, a good logistics and effective distribution channels.
