PIT, the Technology and Innovation Park São José dos Campos, concluded its participation in FAMEX 2025, the Mexican Aerospace Fair, with significant results for the international promotion of its innovation ecosystem and the expansion of the institution’s Soft Landing program.
Over the four days of the event, PIT strengthened strategic connections with important players in the Latin American and European aerospace and innovation sectors. A highlight of the mission was the symbolic signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Baja California Aerospace Cluster, reinforcing collaboration for the joint development of opportunities in the sector.
In addition to the agreement with Baja California, the PIT team advanced negotiations for a new MoU with FEMIA (Federación Mexicana de la Industria Aeroespacial), expected to be signed during the Paris Air Show, one of the largest global events in the sector. This step reinforces PIT’s role as a reference in innovation and internationalization for the Brazilian aerospace industry.
Another key point was the strengthening of the second edition of the Soft Landing program, now with an expanded scope covering all of Latin America, especially Mexico, Colombia and Peru. During the fair, the PIT team prospected companies and innovation environments interested in joining the initiative.
The participation also included visits from authorities such as the Head of SECTEC at the Embassy of Brazil, Vinicius Trindade, and the Commander of the Brazilian Air Force, Brigadier Damasceno, as well as interaction with representatives of Brazilian industry, such as Orbital Engenharia, which formalized a new joint venture with a Mexican partner during the fair.
The FAMEX 2025 mission consolidated PIT’s position as an innovation and internationalization hub in the aerospace sector, promoting the integration of Brazilian Aerospace Cluster member companies on the international stage. The focus now is to follow up on the agreements started and prepare for upcoming strategic agendas, such as the Paris Air Show 2025.
With an active presence at international events and the building of new partnerships, PIT reaffirms its commitment to strengthening Brazilian innovation on the global stage.
